The ideal applicant will conduct research, model, analyse, and advise using Operations Research, Advanced Analytics, and Data Science methodologies in order to develop and support data- and model-driven decision making via cutting-edge business solutions.
- Develop advanced analytics models and automation using emerging tools and technology in areas such as media analytics and operations, content programming, consumer insights, weather research, pricing optimization, global market distribution, demand and revenue forecasting, and other areas of the business.
- Assist in developing, calibrating, validating, and implementing mathematical optimization and predictive analytics models.
- Communicate difficult solutions and ideas in plain language to other team members, IT leadership, and business leaders.
- Create code that adheres to established standards and provides the needed functionality while utilising agreed-upon technology.
- As a part of the project team or as an individual contributor, work on a variety of projects.
- Utilize a realistic approach while evaluating new algorithms and technologies for their potential for beneficial influence, with a focus on results.
- Self-motivated and receptive to learning,
- Python, GitHub, or data science experience
- Capacity to pursue a data science career
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a working knowledge of computer science basics, data structures, and algorithms
